NOVA-Teampilots meets in Chile

Every Year at the first weekend in January is the FAI-2 competition Open-Santiago in Chile.
Two Nova Team-pilots were also on the list.

We could fly every 4 Days of the comp and it was exciting till the last minute in all the 3 categories (serial / sport / women).
After 3 days of competition I still was on the second place in sport, but the last day changed all. In the first long crossing I had bad luck and lost so much altitude that i couldn´t go on. And exactly on this 4th task, my closest competitors made goal. So I was the unlucky NUMBER 4. Two, yes only two Points behind the other NOVA-Teampilot Guillermo Ruiz (Argentina) with his Factor 2. OK, I still made the best result with an EN-B, but the standard class doesn’t exist at this Open.

It was nice like all Year, and for sure next Year I will come back to the podium.
