Task 2
strong winds made it impossible to do a large task so the taskcommite decided to a 30 km run partly with the wind. there were higher clouds so the sun was at times covered. it was an elapsed time race with a exit startcilinder of 3 km. We started late and chavert and i were together waiting for the sun to shine on the ridge some km away. hight; 2600 meter and local good thermals. As the sun came out again we both entered the exit cilinder once again and started racing. I lost sight of chavert and concentrated on my own race. found a good thermal halfway and made it to the ridge but….no thermals at all… Again i raced into the flats were enough thermals helped me get high again. At that time the race was stopped due to worsening weather conditions. At the end i became 4e that day so there is a little climb in the overall list to expect.
Unfortunally one pilot crashed that day and was flown into the hospital. the stalled his Enzo and parachutet into the mountain. luckely it turned out well and he broke nothing and everything seems ok.
tuesday and wednesday ; no tasks because of bad weather
