Now that National Portuguese Paragliding Championship and Pre-European 2017 at Larouco Mountain are over, it is time to reflect about it:
– I had 16 hours of airtime,
– flew 285 km,
– in five tasks ,
– and made goal four times.

NOVA Pilots Team mate Johanna Hamne from Sweden and me
And a special mode to help reach this, such: 9h per day sleeping; hydration after landing until bedtime; protein at breakfast and dinner; focus on “reading” ground signals, as shadows, valleys, small reliefs that could be a trigger to thermals – and be so focused that I almost did not appreciate the landscape…
In the end I was first female on the Nationals podium, second at the Pre-European 2017 and 12th overall in the Pre-Europeans – among so many Booms, Zenos, Enzos and other two-liners.
Thanks to NOVA, for this beautiful glider! (I wouldn’t say this if it was not my honest opinion.)

I would also like to share with you an e-mail that Steve Nash had written to me when I was in doubt of ordering TRITON 2 LIGHT XS (thank you, Steve, it would have been a pleasure fly with you and learn from you):
“Hi Silvia
As Till explained I flew the TRITON 2 LIGHT 2 XS in the Red Bull X-Alps this year. It proved itself as a super choice of wing that really looked after me in some really rough, windy conditions.
[…] However I have not flown head to head with an Enzo or Boom, so I can’t really comment yet. I would suspect if it was rough in a race you would have an advantage […] Both Philipp and Pascal did a great job with this wing, I would highly recommend it. I’m happy to answer more questions, just mail me.
Best regards
Steve”
