The Lakes Charity Classic (LCC) is an informal paragliding competition held in some of England’s most spectacular scenery. The event is acompanied by a massive party, flight displays and all sorts of activities celebrating our wonderful sport. This year my SUSI 10 and me where a part of it. The aim was to get as many mini wings into the air as possible. A generous helicopter pilot droped us all at a mountain top above the camp site. We took of in winds around 30 to 40 km/h. In order to entertain the crowd I had decided to fly in a wet suit and swoop on bare feed into the lake. It worked very well ;)
Thanks to a nice breeze I was able to dry the wing afterwards. My friend Stuart Holmes, a fantastic photographer, captured some nice impressions of me and my beloved SUSI. Thank you for that Stuart!
P.S. Just found a little video made by another LCC pilot. At minute 7:00 you can get a picture from conditions at take of. Some pilots struggle to get of. I was very great full that I fly such a nice wing. As you can see the take of with SUSI is very easy.
