The first flight ever from Santa Ana was made with a Mentor 2 flown by Volker Behrend. I followed him with a tandem. The impressive Vulcano is the tallest in El Salvador and the whole scenery was beautyfull but intimidating at the same time. Volker managed to come to the lake de Coatepeque with 1000 m so he made it to the landing field. The other two local pilots made it to the lake but with a lot less hight, so we had to land earlier. A great experience!
